পারিবারিক সূত্রে জানা যায়, কয়েকদিন ধরে জ্বরে ভুগছিলেন তৌকির। তার শারীরিক অবস্থার অবনতি ঘটলে তাকে হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করা হয়। সেখানে চিকিৎসাধীন অবস্থায় শুক্রবার রাত ২টা ৩০ মিনিটে তিনি শেষ নিঃশ্বাস ত্যাগ করেন।
তৌকিরের অকাল মৃত্যুতে পুরো এলাকায় শোকের ছায়া নেমে এসেছে। তিনি ভদ্র, শান্ত এবং বিনয়ী তরুণ হিসেবে সকলের কাছে পরিচিত ছিলেন। তার এই অপ্রত্যাশিত মৃত্যু এলাকাবাসীর হৃদয়ে গভীর শোকের জন্ম দিয়েছে।
